The dog training sessions should interest your dog and not make him feel bored. You can try getting him to do interesting things so that he makes use of his brain. He is more likely to show better interest in doing interesting things rather than boring exercises.

It is also advisable to join a local kennel club. You and your dog will learn a lot from various shows held regularly and you will have an incentive to train your dog. Kennel club membership will be very useful for you as a pet owner.

Thus you can successfully train your dog to do the right things. But make sure you never use force on him for any reason.
